Hands in plaster/electroplated.
” Maum” is the title meaning in Gaelic a hand measure of ingredients for cooking.
For me it’s a measure of life.

I studied pottery while living in England during the late 1970’s. This led to tuition at Bristol Polytechnic where my passion for sculpture flourished. After settling in Australia I furthered my craft under the tuition of Christine Simpson, a sculptress of great renown. For me, sculpting is therapeutic . My pieces usually represent or relate to a kind of love.
